The London Society hosts Christmas Lecture at Foyles

Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands is delighted to support the newly reformed London Society and its Christmas Lecture. David Gentleman, illustrator, watercolourist, and graphic artist best known for his books on London, will present the lecture on Thursday 4th December at Foyles Flagship store on Charing Cross Road.

While his new book, ‘David Gentleman in the Country’ is about to be published by Full Circle Editions, David has been drawing London all his adult life. Earlier books include David Gentleman’s Britain, David Gentleman’s London, David Gentleman’s Coastline.  His platform-length mural at Charing Cross underground station is well-known to Londoners; he has also published lithographs and screen prints and designed British postage stamps.

Foyles, which opened to much acclaim in June, is hosting the event in its auditorium on the top floor. The evening lecture will be followed by drinks. Tickets are £7, and can be purchased from the London Society website.

We hope to see you there.
