The 2017 Civic Trust Awards Regional Finalists have been revealed, with two Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands projects being shortlisted. Besides awarding architecture and design excellence, the Civic Trust Awards recognises projects with strong sustainability credentials, inclusive and accessible design.
Kilburn Park, competed this year, follows on this principle, having transformed a rundown housing estate into a sustainable urban area, incorporating the best in sustainable regeneration principles. Also completed this year, Fitzroy Place is a mixed-use scheme of high quality residential apartment and office buildings located at the former Middlesex Hospital site.
Established in 1959, The Civic Trust Awards is an independent built environment awards scheme that recognises projects contributing positively to local communities.
